Welcome

I have lived my life relying on what others could do for me. I have never been able to complete a challenge on my own. Going to Costa Rica is my challenge and I am dedicated to complete that challenge. The challenge to me is working hard to earn what I need. The Costa Rica class as a whole needs to raise 15,000 dollars in order to go. With the hard work and dedication that I am willing to offer I am proud to say there is no doubt in my mind that we will reach this goal. The one thing that stands out to me the most about wanting to experience Costa Rica is the culture. It has been one of my dreams to go out of the country and experience their culture and relate it to mine. When I say culture I mean their difference of style of living compared to mine as in, food, housing, clothes, and environment. So I cant wait to explore and see what Costa Rica has in store for me!

Only 47 DAYS UNTILL WE LEAVE FOR COSTA RICA!

We have now decided in class that Wednesday’s is our day to discuss as a group about planning for the trip. As of right now are main focus is our research projects, and to post at least a blog once week. While discussing with another classmate about the trip. I began to get emotional. I never thought I would be doing something like this. I am proud of myself for all of the work I have accomplished not only for my classmates, but also for my community. . Like I have mention in my recent blog posts, it still has not hit me that I am going to Costa Rica. I am so excited for the whole experience!  Have you ever had an experience that has changed your life?

  1. Did I miss the blog where you said what you were researching in Costa Rica? This is very exciting. You and your classmates have really worked very hard. you have a right to be emotional, you have earned it. I am looking forward to reading about your plans as they develop too.

  2. Thank you. I am so amazed by the things my class and I have accomplished as a whole. But most of all we could not have done all of these things without the support we have had.
